Introduced to New hotel in Stone Town

Dear  'A' Team Holiday Members 2013

I have been fortunate to be introduced to the Managing Director Mr Hamid Abubakar of Abuso Inn and have checked out the rooms from doubles, singles and even rooms with 3 beds.

Yesterday I went to to view the top open air restaurant overlooking the sea where on the right is Tembo Hotel. In the past and on all our previous holidays we always used Tembo where my room was Room 100 because it had a balcony and in the late evenings after wining and dining around town, we ended up at Room 100.

I have pleasure in informing you that the open air restaurant has a dynamic view where our party of 16 can really have fun. (Bookings as Bed and Breakfast).

On the same top level 6 new rooms are currently being commissioned which will soon be ready and Mr Hamid has promised us all the 6 rooms for our party and the rooms below on the 2nd floor all have great front-line viewing. 

Though Tembo has always been our favourite for several years, this location will strongly be considered for our first weeks stay before we move to either Mapenzi like last year or Dream of Zanzibar which I will be going to view this afternoon.

I was privilleged to meet up with the Managing Director Hamid Abubakar and also Technical Building Construction Engineer Mr. Abuu_Shani with Bulu and a few other friends and whilst taking a few photographs, Mr Hamid said this is the 'Big 5' - ha ha!! (I did not mention to Mr Hamid that '5' is my lucky number to add that I was born on the 5th  January 1939, my family comprises of 5, Betty, Benito, Winston, :Lisette & Yvette, with 7 grandchildren. My own family 'The De Souza's from Zanzibar are also 5, Yvette, Benito, Annabella, Jerome & Rhoda, our home in London in Worcester Park is No.5 and finally our private car registration number is A5 BDS. He will laugh when he reads this message.
